Download Chat Application - Click Here

You can also choose any other third party XMPP chat clients like Pidgin that support Jabber service

Follow these steps to connect mailserver chat to Pidgin:

  1. Open Pidgin.
  2. Click the Accounts menu and click Manage Accounts.
  3. Click Add.
  4. In the Protocol field, select XMPP.
  5. In the Username field, enter your  username. For example, john.smith
  6. In the Domain field, enter your domain, such as netcore.com.
  7. In the Resource field, enter a unique name for the device you're running the client on. For example, "Work Laptop". As the XMPP protocol allows you to connect to your account from multiple devices, being able to distinguish between those devices is important.
  8. In the Password field, enter the password used to log in to email account.
  9. Select the Remember password checkbox.
  10. Click on the Advanced tab.
  11. In the Connection Security field, select Use encryption if available.
  12. Select the Allow plain text auth over unencrypted streams checkbox.
  13. In the Connect Server field, enter your server address. For example, mail.netcore.com.
  14. Click Add.
