When sending email to several people at once, it can be helpful to use a contact group. When you type the name of a contact group in the To, Cc, or Bcc field, you can add all the contacts in that group. This is much faster than adding recipient emails individually.
Accessing Contacts in Gmail
In the upper-left corner of Gmail, click Mail.
In the drop-down list that appears, click Contacts.
Creating contact groups
In Contacts, in the left menu, click New Group.
Enter a name for the new contact group, and then click OK.
