How to import any PST file from EMA v3 admin panel
1. Login to EMA admin panel through web interface.
2. Go to MAILS > Select IMPORT
3. Click on HOW TO IMPORT tab
4. Click the WinSCP link provided for file transfer from Windows machine to Linux server.
5. Download the WinSCP tool provided on the EMA link.
6. Save the exe file to open the program.
7. Run the exe file on your PC to start the WinSCP application.
8. Provide the server credentials to inititiate the connection.
9. Wait for the session to get initialized.
10. Drag and Drop your file in the following directory - /opt/ema/import
11. Supported file formats
- .pst (outlook mailbox file)
- .dbx (outlook express mailbox folder file)
- .mbox (a file which contains multiple raw mails)
- .zip (zip file of mdir format mail files)
12. The file transfer will start as per the provided path and will finish depending on file size and data speed.
13. Once successfully uploaded, the file will appear on the right hand side of the screen.
14. Close the WinSCP tool and visit this Import section on EMA admin panel.
15. Select the file to be imported in your mail array server.
16. The IMPORT process will begin and the status will be shown on screen.
17. Once the IMPORT is successfully completed the notification will appear accordingly.
18. The EMA admin also receives an alert via email about the imported file will the related details.
